Author's Notes: What do many people think of in the end of 02?  Sorato.  That one word comes to mind.  Here's another vidfic by me, which contains Taiora and Sorato, with some Taito undertones.  If you'd like to listen to the song, the MP3 can be found here: www.sumanonline.com/Weezerton/MP3/love.mp3.  Things in italics mean the musical directions, everything else is action and lyrics.  Enjoy!

I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams

[Cue scene on grown up Sora in a part of her home with Matt.  She's in her studio: a slanted desk and wheelie chair on the left, couch (with TV across from it) in the middle of the room, and to the right, a telescope and window.  She works alone over her latest design, a set of kimonos with a space suit motif to them.  She sighs, picks up a nearby remote, swivels around in her chair, and then turns on the television.]

Zingy techno start.

[Immediately, the start of a news clip with Tai at some diplomatic function flashes on as she looks downcast, away from the TV.]

Immediately, a crash of drums and guitar then vocals.

Sora:  I'm so tall, can't get over me.  I'm so low, can't get under me.  I must be all these things, for I just threw out the love of my dreams...

[Sora gets up from her chair and strides to the middle of the room, standing in the space between the small couch and TV.  She then watches with much interest, and as the television keeps showing images of Tai, she sings out to them.]

Sora:  He's in my eyes, he is in my ears.  He's in my blood, he is in my tears.  I breathe love and see him every day, even though my love is a world away...

[The news clip of Tai ends, and then focuses then on coverage of Matt's mission.  She casts another longing look at the screen.]

Sora:  Oh he's got me wondering... My righteousness is crumbling...

[She then closes the distance to the window, where there's a picture of Matt on the sill.  She then turns her attentions to the picture and sings to it.]

Sora:  Never before have I felt this way.  No one is right, want for him to stay.  I must be made of steel, for I just threw out the love of my dreams...

[She bends over and takes a peek into the telescope.  Switch view of a single red glowing star and some small white comet like streak heading to it.]

Sora:  He's in my eyes, he is in my ears.  He's in my blood, he is in my tears.  I breathe love and see him every day, even though my love is a world away...

[Sora quickly looks up from the scope.  She takes the picture of Matt from the sill, and holds it to her heart.  She looks out into the sky sadly and wistfully.]

Sora:  Oh he's got me wondering... My righteousness is crumbling...

Musical bridge with techno guitar wailing away the melody.

[Side view of Sora as she settles herself down on the couch and watches the television and still holds Matt's picture to herself.  Split screen as it shows the side view of Sora sitting watching TV on one end, and then side view of Tai sitting at home watching the TV on his end.]

Female vocals resume to sing with some of the male vocals more prominent in the background.

Sora (with Tai in the background): Oh he's got me wondering... My righteousness is crumbling... *intensifies* And I see him every day, even though my love is a world away...

[Both of them then stand up from their seats and look as though they're facing each other.]

Tai:  He's in my eyes, he is in my ears.  He's in my blood, he is in my tears.

Sora:  I must be made of steel-

Together:  For I just threw out the love of my dreams.

The techno music gives one final zing before fading off, leaving the female vocals to end on "dreams" a little after the music ends.

The End

Additional Author's Notes: If any of you are fans of Weezer, I'm sure that you'd know this is a rare song from them.  It's a B-Side song from their second album "Pinkerton".  If you guys missed that URL just click on: love.mp3.  It's a good song, and I hope that you send in your reviews!
